Hong Kong is a vibrant city where stunning skylines meet lush green hills, offering a perfect blend of modernity, tradition, and natural beauty. I only had a few days here before hitting the top half of Vietnam, from Hoi An to Sapa. This is a journey of striking contrasts, from the serene beaches and ancient charm of Hoi An to the misty mountain landscapes of Sapa. Along the way, you’ll pass through bustling cities, lush rice terraces, and quaint villages, each offering its own unique culture and scenery. In my opinion, the food is one of the true highlights — I love all asian food but Vietnamese cuisine is the best I’ve come across, with rich flavors and fresh ingredients that reflect the diversity of the region.
